Thank god! I was really loving the game, but I need to take frequent breaks to help the head aches I was getting from this.
Cant wait to do a second play through with proper FOV.
they say that full implementation would fuck with the first person animations, but wouldn't they only have to change the first person viewmodels to fix it?

that's a lot easier said than done
try increasing the FOV in a game that's not supposed to have its FOV raised, like MW2. the arms duck down to grab a magazine, fingers contort awkwardly, and the reload magically concludes. or there's just a lot of see-through and odd clipping parts with the viewmodel. that's probably the issue in last light.
4A should also do this for 2033.
Just sayin.

you can through some config files
problem with last light is you literally cannot adjust the fov at all

Honestly I'd rather have that than such low FoV
I like how they're doing this, but as I'm playing on ranger hardmode, my equipment menu doesn't even show up but I can hear clicking as I hold the key down and move my mouse around. Is that supposed to be a feature in the difficulty or just a bug?

P. sure that's a bug

Pretty sure it's a bug, but I worked out that holding Tab then moving the mouse up equips throwing knives, moving the mouse right equips incendiary, and moving the mouse left equips grenades, with down being for claymores.
I hope they fix the shader glitches AMD 7000 series are getting. I'm sick of black spots everywhere, really ruins your immersion,

Its like that for nearly every PC game in existence and nobody makes a big deal out of it. Metro devs were just lazy because you could change your FOV in Metro 2033 and it would have the same results.
Length of this?
I've heard 15-20 hours, accurate?
Thanks

I beat it on normal in about 10 hours. I didn't find all the secrets though. The game is well worth the money, I wish I preordered it for ranger mode.
