Ok before I begin I would like to add that I DO NOT condone many of the websites on this list they are VILE and DEPRIVED and I will have nothing to do with them. I strongly suggest that this thread become a 18+ thread due to the content that will be inevitably discussed, I would like this to be analitical and I would like to know peoples opinions on the matter at hand, I DO NOT want links to be taken from the list and placed in this thread, I cannot stress this enough, and if anyone goes to any of the sites on the list I would like no Images, Videos or parts of any kind posted in the thread however feel free to talk of them and your views on the subject. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Also I would like not to be held accountable and I would like Facepunch to not be held accountable for what you see, its your choice what you view we dont make it you live with the consequences of YOUR actions. If you disagree with this please leave the thread.
Now that warning is out of the way I will talk about the Leaked ACMA Blacklist, this list contains the websites that will effectivly be Banned from Australia, I will discuss why I do not think that banning these sites will fix the problem of their existance.
The Mandatory Internet Filter that will possibly be enacted on Australian citizens has alledgedly been created to combat Child Pornography, Depraved Sex acts and Violence. This is all well and good but I believe this is really just putting our heads in the sand and pretending the problem isnt there. The Internet Filter will slow down Australias already appauling net speeds, as the filter will moniter ALL USE be citizens the government is enacting on this filter that will slow down and block information (some completely legal sites are being blocked including some online poker and outskirt religous organisations although I do have a huge problem with religion as its just another form of control but that is not what I am discussing) under the guise of scare tactics, toting abused children as their mascot, this is particularily dangerous as the monitering process is complete, all internet actions is monitered. Now it scares me to think what they will do when the Child Porn epedemic is not culled by this move, and we all know it wont because we are simply hiding the problem not actually hunting down and stopping the pedophiles. What will the government do next? moniter phone calls, meetings, conversations? are we to be tracked via GPS so they know where we are at all times? I dont know what our future holds but all I know is that crazy moves such as this always end badly. You know what happened when the Australian Government asked the populace to hand in their weapons to reduce gun crimes? the gun crime rate went up because only honast citizens handed in their weapons, the crimnals did not and knew that the population was unarmed.
I dont think I want to be part of any society anymore, my studys have only lead me to think... things will get much worse.
Australians say NO to the internet filter, that is... if they give us they option.
heres the Blacklist, please go threw it and see if you can find any dicrepancys, I have found some. but PLEASE heed the warning at the top of this article.

Yes I am aware of that, thats why I am not posting the list I am posting the link to the list, please feel free to dicuss the list and the mandatory filter (if your german you will already know about this kind of thing) I did warn that the list contains some horrible stuff, but it also contains some strange additives which deffy explanation. Perhaps I should remove the link if MOD tells me to it shall be done I want this issue to be discussed.

Why would he. Wikileaks is there for a reason, the word should be spread about what's happening in Australia right now.
It's everyone's own choice to click those links on there.
Most of them are broken.
Or link to nonexistent websites and Error 404s.
The whole filter is pointless in my opinion and only serves to further slow down an already slowed network.

Ok I have removed the link the Blacklist is to volatile please discuss it however. If you want to find it you can, but I think the sites should deffo have been kept a secret.

Incest websites
Child Pornography
Violence
rape and violent sex acts
Violent sites and image boards
Beastiaility
Poker websites (this one is strange)

That depends what you plan to do with it, I admit telling people of the list might have been a particularily BAD idea as a LOT of the sites where secret. The list also has direct links to IP Adresses, this worrys me.

It's illegal because it violates human rights and it is also [B][U]WRONG[/U][/B] morally and biologically.
Most countries have some degree of reasonable net censorship (child porn etc.) but the surveillance part is a bit of a ding-dong.

Interesting interpretation. If you're talking about prepubescent children then it makes sense for it to be illegal as the child is not biologically capable of having sex. If the child is pubescent then there's technically nothing wrong with it unless the child is forced to do it against his/her volition.
