Hello.
I am, together with a classmate of mine, going to hand in a project regarding digital distribution and specifically a digital school bag, which in turn is inspired by Steam.
We're going to use this survey as part of an analysis of the tendencies of digital media and to determine the general feel on what people think of heavy school bags, disappearing paper and sharing notes.
No personal information is required.
It is much appreciated if you participate.

If you have trouble understanding the first question, look at this post:
Did it. I think I understood the first question correctly, too.
So if your country has a legal obligation that every child has to pass, for example 9 years, and after that 9 years you attend a college, for example. The time at the college is what counts. Am I right?
How are you a gold member? i thought it was 2 yr 2000 posts...

Lots of people were given gold before the auto-promotion system came in.
Survey completed.
Interesting concept for web based school materials.
Done.
Done, you should probably check the English on there as well, it's dodgy to say the least.

I will forward it to my work buddy, who is in charge of the survey. I agree it is sort of dodgy, but we both agreed it should be able to be followed - from our point of view at least.

It's partially web based. You're running a piece of software connecting to a database containing your information. It's not a website, if you had that impression.
Thanks for participating so far!
Filled it in, However I already use a digitalized note taking system.
MS OneNote on a netbook synced up with my home server and home PC.
I'm confused...
It says:
"Years of education beside the required years for your country."
You country has an obligatory maybe 9 years of school, which you are required by law to complete. Then there's optional scholarships, such as college.
The point of the question is to know for how long the average participant has been to school.
So if you, say, went to the university, you're looking for 5-8 more years or however long it lasted until now.
Done ;)
By the way, feel free to point out if you think it need another essential question. Any help is welcome.
Done.

You should rephrase the first question. I don't even understand where exactly the survey was going, seemed a little random.

How would you rephrase it? I'm not sure myself. Judging the results, I'm positive ~75% of the participants misunderstood the question. Look a few posts up, I tried to explain what the idea of the question is.
I understand why it might seem random to you, it is because the questions are not chronological. They are used to interpret different tendencies to use for the presentation and the report of the project.
The reason we decided Facepunch would be a good user base is because the community is largely consistent of people currently studying or people who recently graduated.
i did it for you ;)
Done it.
I filled out the questionnaire

That is 100% correct.
That is 100% correct.
Awesome.
I think you should add that to the first post, so that people would know how to answer.

Oh, didn't notice :v:
80 completed surveys so far, thanks a lot.
We're sort of aiming for 100, so that each participant is counting for 1%.

I'm surprised to see not one of 94 participants always buy boxed games. I know at least two of my friends do.
I do always write sentence good!
I do always fail class of English grammar.
I do like to do.
