• Contrast Vs Nontrast

Just after a bit of CC on the colouring of this space marine: [img]http://img860.imageshack.us/img860/3672/contrastvsnontrast.png[/img] To me the high contast, brighter marine looks better, but i know people say to avoid high contast/bright colours Which do you prefer? (and do you like it generaly?)

They are both not as good as they could be. The guitar is not drawn correctly. All of the shading is also pretty bad. I'd say the blue parts of him look good low contrast and the other parts look good high contrast. Also as mentioned above, colour ramps/hueshifting will give it a good effect.
