Sounds so random. It's like you stitched tons of random effects together. It's not something I would ever listen by my free will. And don't use these sharp sounds alone, they hurt my ears. And phone ringing is unfitting at all.
Yea i did the first bit yesterday and the wierd tune today, maybe i should have made it two different songs. And sorry it is a bit high pitched.
It started out pretty decent especially for a first try. But then there was no real drum track anymore, and it just sounded dissonant. Although kind of great still. You got talent kid. Keep it up.
You might want to stop using default samples included in FL.
Thanks alot scrub :D il try my hardest <3 and thanks Dloar im yet to still find some good downloadable ones, if you could direct me to a website i would much appreciate it. :)

awesome, thanks!
I'm sorry, but this is terrible.
Stop using FL Studio's default samples, stop using the "microsoft sam"-like shit that comes with FL, and don't only use highly pitched sounds (it just sounds annoying).
Also, melodies aren't just notes randomly slapped one after another, learn the basics of music theory.
My first try, i did state. Im sure you wasnt the best on your first song... Anyway ive read up on some tutorials and am currently making another little section of a song.
Where the heck did the drums go what am I listening too why is there a phone ringing oh my gosh a robot is talking what is happening oh man this is super out of key good god ahhhh.

2nd attempt, any better ?
It's a little better, but still needs a loooooot of work.
You're really struggling to pick a key and stay with it, you've got so many notes that are completely out of the key you start in. It was decent until you start hitting bad notes around 30 secs in. Before you start another track go read up on some basic music theory for real, some people can get away with making music and knowing virtually nothing about music theory (I'm one of the lucky ones I guess), but a lot of people can't and you seem to be one of them haha.
You're also just randomly dropping pieces of your song and then bringing in a different synth line and it's not giving the song any progression at all, especially when you never come back to those dropped pieces. And that wobbley thing at the end, what, where did that even come from it doesn't fit at all to randomly have that for the last 20 seconds or whatever of the song.
It feels like you're randomly picking a synth preset that you sorta like and then only using that and the a kick drum. It's got no depth to it when there's only a bassdrum and one instrument playing at a time, you've got to get a bassline and some pads/chord progression and a melody or two going (and I think this could also help you see where you're going way off key because if you're doing it with different instruments playing at once they're going to clash a lot)
Lose the bad FL studio robot vocals too please for the love of god.
Keep at it though, it's a time consuming thing to learn. I've been at it for a little over 3 years now and am only recently really making stuff that I like a lot.
Thanks for the feedback, il get researching now :) I just dont understand how people on youtube just go into the piano drop mode and stick things in random places and it sounds really good. When i try it it just seems to be awful. Same with chords
The thing is a lot of the time people aren't just putting notes in random places haha, that's the point!
It's all about learning which notes tend to send good with which notes, and how to find a note on the piano roll that you've got in your head. A lot of that just comes from practice, although being able to get a good melody in your head is probably influenced quite a bit by your musical inclination in the first place.
I'd recommend in addition to looking up some music theory, finding some songs that have a melody or a bassline that you really like and trying to recreate that melody in FL studio (don't even worry about getting a similar synth sound just try to match up the notes or something so you can get an idea of what they're doing)
Thanks. :) i will try that now actualy. thanks for your help :)

Wow, you have no idea how much I respect you for helping this guy out.
i like the second one
and im a bit of a fan of the sam. ive been trying to incorporate him in some of my shits
I can't figure out fruity loops even if i had a gun pointed to my head.
But props to you, it sounds alright, eventhough its not my style of music (A bit random as kmart mentioned)
Only thing i made in it was this and it took me hours (Well about an hour i have an attention span comparable to a mosquito) :(

That actually sounds really nice for a starter, you've got a nice feel for beat.

No, not at all, but because frankly, this requires a lot of improvement. And well, I've seen dozens of people like you, trying out Fruity Loops for the first time, ending up only getting flamed. I think it's great that you want to learn how to make music digitally.

It's like listening to 3 different songs.
I like how the second one turned out pretty good and then started going horribly wrong. It's so overly aggressive and overloaded.
It's something I would listen to while trying to demolish my flat.

Don't fool yourself into thinking you deserve help more than anyone else. I've been doing creative stuff for about a year now(Photography, music, drawing) and until very recently I've had to depend on myself. Most comments I've gotten have been like "That's pretty cool I guess", and thus, I really respect the ones who do help the newbies. Don't whine about me disrespecting you.

I'm not whining am i ? I'm just saying im trying my hardest but there is a limit on what youtube can teach you. Yes it is nice that he is helping me but its not like i dont deserve it because im new to the application is it. And yes, i have been doing creative stuff (pictures, films, etc) for 2 years, so dont think that makes you superior.

I'm not saaying you don't deserve it. But you don't deserve it more than any other newbie, and apart from them, you get it. Nothing wrong with that, but if there was more people like KmartSQL CC would be a better place.
Horrible, no sense of harmony melody or rhythm really. You need to have at least basic music knowledge, not even theory to work with FL Studio. Just an ear for what goes good together will help you out, your stuff is just all over the place. Keep trying...
I do have the basics in my head, but trying to get it down on FL is entirely fucking different :/
