Strangely enough, both of those seem too expensive for a fix to a phenomenon I've learned to mentally block out already anyway.

Traditional double buffering Vsync introduces weird hickups between frames if you can't hit the framerate of your monitor, making it wait until the next present opportunity(basically jumping to 30fps instead, or if you can't hit that it jumps to 15fps and so on). And with triple buffering Vsync you introduce input lag of at least 16ms but you can have variable frame timing, there's still some hickups when travelling through frametimes though. G-Sync and Freesync make the monitor do a screen refresh if it gets new data from the GPU, basically eliminating any input lag, no hickups, and no screen tearing.
AOC makes the best monitors imo. Their latest models have a solid build and nice finish. Even my lightly older one is fantastic.
I have a cheap AOC 21.5" monitor as my second monitor. Was only about 100€ but has a decent IPS panel. Works fine for watching streams etc.
