• Random BSOD's caused by various things

Heya Facepunch, Ever since the BF3 beta started, I've been getting random BSOD's for odd reasons. I first assumed it was just the beta drivers causing it, but after uninstalling them it still happened. I did memtest, came back negative, though the latest dump claimed to be STOP 0x0000007F. My temps are well below overheating (Core at around 20°c, GPU 30°c, etc.) WhoCrashed suggests it's just driver errors, but all of them are up to date. Sometimes it's a BSOD, sometimes it just restarts without warning. Anyone got any ideas? [editline]1[/editline] Latest dump suggests ntkrpamp.exe did it, second lastest said ntkrnlpa.exe did it, and so did most of the others.
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/137539 info for your stop error From what i've read it's usually a hardware issue, but a messed up registry can too. Try running CCleaner's registry cleaner
0x0000007F is the same error you get while attempting to use AHCI with wrong/no drivers. I would suspect a hard disk related issue, or if you are using an AMD GPU and also have an AMD motherboard, it may have updated your SATA/chipset drivers as well.
Yep, they're still happening. After wiping my HD and reinstalling Windows. Should I go ahead and assume I have faulty memory?
