As we head into 2015, we would like to share the first screens and system specs of Grand Theft Auto V for PC as well as a new release date of March 24, 2015. Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be. Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March. GTA Online for PC, which will support up to 30 players, will launch alongside GTAV for PC and will include GTA Online Heists. Online Heists for consoles will be launching in the coming weeks ahead of the PC launch.
http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/52374/gtav-pc-new-release-date-first-screens-and-system-specs
Minimum specifications: OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1, Windows Vista 64 Bit Service Pack 2* (*NVIDIA video card recommended if running Vista OS) Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs) / AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs) @ 2.5GHz Memory: 4GB Video Card: NVIDIA 9800 GT 1GB / AMD HD 4870 1GB (DX 10, 10.1, 11) Sound Card: 100% DirectX 10 compatible HDD Space: 65GB DVD Drive Recommended specifications: OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1 Processor: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2GHZ (4 CPUs) / AMD X8 FX-8350 @ 4GHZ (8 CPUs) Memory: 8GB Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / AMD HD7870 2GB Sound Card: 100% DirectX 10 compatible HDD Space: 65GB DVD Drive
god damn it, i was looking forward to a january release :(
65GB though.
65GB FUCK M8
HDD Space: 65GB
FUCK
oh no
Minimum is a lot lower than I expected. I'm happy.
Sound Card: 100% DirectX 10 compatible
Fuck, my sound card is only 85% compatible.
Well, two extra months to save up for it, and find room to install it, I guess. At least they're not rushing forward with a hurried release. Rockstar's definitely learned from GTAIV.
fucking march goddamnit
Another delay, are you shitting me? At least I won't have to worry about my 970 not arriving before release
Dios mio the HDD space. Though my PC actually meets the specs of a 8th gen game this time. But it looks like I won't be getting games digitally this gen because I'd blow through my bandwidth cap pretty quickly.
God damn it, a two month delay is not a "slight shift in the date".
Why didn't they just put the release date in March in the first place? It reflects badly on them if they keep pushing back the release and if GTAV is less than stellar, people are going to be pissed because it took so long. Wasn't it originally supposed to be out in the fall of 2014? Also what the fuck, how can GTA V take up so much space? Are they trying to do what EA did with Titanfall?
GG
65Gigs, I get it, no SSD love.
What the hell sort of a compression scheme are Rockstar even using for them to even say you'd need to set 60 GB aside? Sure the end result will probably be less, but come on now. Sixty?! 30-40 would be my absolute limit for today's stuff.
If 2014 has taught us anything it's that delays should be applauded Also it's coming out on my birthday now and towards the end of my uni term
My pc does not have a dvd drive :v:
Oh damn, I guess it is really time to upgrade soon.
Time get invest in a larger SSD
Glad it gets released after the nationwide exam that I'm gonna attend.
Oi they've released the first PC screenshots too, in 4K [t]http://media.rockstargames.com/rockstargames/img/global/news/upload/pctree_full.jpg[/t] OP link for more
Hopefully those low system requirements mean that it's a good port.
At this point more content should be an expectation.
Oh shit, the delay sucks but fuck man, I can't believe my PC will handle this. In fact my CPU is better than the recommended one. I5 3570k.
I felt shafted the first time this happened, now I just feel totally distraught. 15 fucking months of waiting for nothing.
I felt shafted the first time this happened, now I just feel totally distraught. 15 fucking months of waiting for nothing.
It's not cancelled.
i5 3570k and a 2GB 6950. Who else is just scraping it? :v:
