Fans are angry after Kanye sings three songs, rants and then walks off stage
The rapper had a go at Beyonce and her husband, Jay Z, as well as Taylor Swift, Hillary Clinton and Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg.
He was only three songs into his Sacramento concert last night - which is part of his Saint Pablo Tour - before he stopped to air his views.
"Get ready to have a field day press because the show's over" he said before dropping his mic as the crowd booed.
It's not clear what the exact point of Kanye's latest monologue was, but part of it was directed at Beyonce - who hasn't responded in any way.
He accused her of not wanting to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this year unless she won an award.
"Beyonce I was hurt because I heard you said you wouldn't perform unless you won video of the year over me," he said.
It's only two nights since he told the audience at a concert in San Jose that if he had voted in the US elections it would have been for Republican President-elect, Donald Trump.
He was booed then too and despite the fact fans are used to his outbursts it's prompted some to question the rapper's actions.
Regardless of what you think of his music, he's got a fucking terrible behaviour
thank goodness ticketmaster is giving out full refunds for this
man there's no defending kanye as of late, dude is seriously being whack as fuck and I absolutely love his music.
hopefully this is just him being stupid instead of mental health issues really starting to slip through the cracks.
This dude seems to be having a full on breakdown.
Its just the natural Kanyesian boom and bust cycle... he says some weird shit and implodes, only to rise up more popular.
Apparently some people who bought tickets and resell them are now getting the refunds, so second hand buyers got fucked

That's fine, if you're buying tickets from a reseller you should know what you're getting into.

i dont blame people for being desperate and wanting to see their favorite artists live, of course its stupid but most prefer taking the risk than staying home
resellers who buy tickets in bulk and then price gouge are fucking scum and there should be countermeasures to prevent this

Ticketmaster has a direct resale thing within their system to prevent this. It ensures both parties get their money back but not all shows do this. But the ones for Kanye do so I'm not worried about it.
I miss the old Kanye
I hate the new Kanye, the bad mood Kanye
The always rude Kanye, spaz in the news Kanye
I love Kanye, the whole industry he works in is such a shit mountain that I don't see how people can get so emotionally attatched to these artists. Like "Oh noe, Kanye said he'd vote for trump? But that's not who I would vote for, how dare he not have the same opinion as me if I like his music" or "wowe how could these self determining individuals not get along, I can't beliv he said mean things about three people who literally dont know and wouldnt care if I lived or died!"
To me he's like the crazy guy in the corner who keeps shattering the illusion.

people paid 200 dollars to see this show

its because the industry, especially the shows for A-list celebrities like Kanye are more about the artists and their personality than the music itself
what people often dont realize is that their idols may have different opinions which shatters their image of them and why they idolized them in the first place
walking off after just 3 songs is still shitty and im glad everyone is getting refunded though

People paid for him to do his job and he didn't do it. This is like reserving the grand suite at a hotel and getting a cot in the hallway.

Stuff like this just make me thinks of all the crazy fans he has that just blindly defends him. Even if it was an artist I really liked (some of Kanye's songs are pretty good, imo) the fact that people paid money to watch him and have him rant and leave? Not cool man
Also Kanye cancelled the rest of the tour

What a fucking whacko.

Might just be him actually surfacing. The dude is known for being an idiot at times.
Doesn't mean he doesn't make great stuff though. Another good example is the game Fez. Shitty person made it, but great game. No reason to connect the content to the author in terms of validity.

wow damn he'd make a great president now wouldn't he
He's got talent and you can see that (especially with earlier works like through the wire) but lately he's been acting rather irrationally in terms of behaviour. Is it just the pressures of the stage?
Seems like kanye west needs some kanye rest
Kanye bein a lil bitch
Imagine if you paid 200 dollars to see a movie and they'd cut it after 15 minutes and tell you to leave
I'd be pretty glad they refunded me like they did the fans who went to his show. Now, obviously I think anyone who finds life of pablo worth 200€ is very misguided either way, but I find it smashing people paid 200€ to watch kanye and were then angry at his opinions and boo'd him. The whole industry is absurd and everyone is paying for it, which is fine with me.
this is just business as usual for him, I don't get why people expect anything less.
Fans shouldn't go see his live shows and venues should refuse him.
I was planning on going to his show in a few days too around where I live, a shame

Honestly it isnt, hes having a meltdown this week but the rest of the tour has gone well. No idea what set him off other than maybe the election
While it is crappy that people paid to see his show and he didn't deliver, I imagine there could be a bunch of personal things for him going on.
Hey if i had a wife like Kanye i'd be a fucking trainwreck too.

You're projecting it as if people knowingly paid to see him go on some bullshit rant rather than the promised performance. People have full right to be angry at this because it's frankly fucking pathetic.
This reminds me of how Weird Al, in 2004, got a call from his wife an hour before a concert performance telling him his parents both died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Then he went out and performed anyway and told his audience "since my music had helped many of my fans through tough times, maybe it would work for me as well" and that it would "at least...give me a break from sobbing all the time.", and then he completed the entire tour without a hitch.
Not that I expect all musicians to do something like that, but after finding out about that, unless you have a really really good reason to cancel a show doing so is such a fucking dick move to everyone in the audience in my opinion. Especially if it's because you randomly want to throw a temper tantrum.
the pearl jam concert I went to into 2014 had some political talk at the mid point but they still finished they're songs and went on for an hour and a half extra, 3 and half hour concert was nuts
