Windows 8.x in any corporate environment seems silly to me.
Urgh, of course the things they mention are true. But notice what they are talking about - contacts, phonebooks, some messages etc.
Of course these things pose a security risk vector, but the only place they currently don't are marginal Linux distros which don't really have cloud accounts of any sort. The risk on android, IOS and osX is pretty much the same and not due to some secret ploy to steal data, but because people expect non local account information more and more.
i wonder if someone in the U.S. government ever thought of all the fallout that would come from their secret programs comming to light. the taliban are shooting W.H.O. workers because the CIA used them once to spy, the next census will be tainted with bad info because nobody trusts the beuro of census with the right info, foregn governments and businesses now don't trust U.S. software companies, Cisco is loosing tons of business because of the known backdoors the NSA put in all their hardware.
and the worst part is nobody on the hill will do anything about it. but i doubt the chinese with enough time couldn't secure win8 though.
