Seems like hardline has a bad companyesque feeling about it from this trailer. Eventhough the SP campaign probably isn't anything special I hope that it isn't as babbyfied as the one in BF4.

Say what you will about the permise of the game, but It's still quite fun, I enjoyed both betas, though I enjoyed the Game modes from the first beta a bit more, I'm guessing they'll be in the final game tho.
I liked the way trailer looked. If that's how SP is, then I will probably enjoy it.

Which, at least in last beta, ended up with some driving cars for fun, and the rest camping roads with C4 and blows them up, and that's basically the whole game mode.

all they need to do is disable c4 and maybe rocket launchers and it'd own
Not really seeing any Bad Company vibes, seems like it takes itself way too seriously again.
That's a very nice trailer, but those facial expressions seemed really bland and unrefined.
I was in the beta. Sure it was fun, but sure as hell not worth 60€ + premium whatever.

When your game does not have tanks and all thew vehicles take damage from small arms fire, kinda hard to justify having explosives at all, i really don't subscribe to the 'explosives are fun' when they get spammed indefinitely and when your world is cops and robbers it makes it seem over kill. I'd have no problem with rare C4 / RPG / M79 picks ups, but instead we have RPG in the boot of every single car. So i think, i stay on foot and live longer killing people, or i get in a car and drive over an inevitable tripwire in the middle of a road in about 10 seconds time. Safe to say i didn't drive a whole lot. Which when your playing hot wire, defeats the whole point.
I love the idea, it could have been infantry centric with car chases which would have been great, but for me it's failed to give itself a unique identity.

Completely agreed.
As much as they try, it felt like a mod and I don't think it will have the gameplay to keep it exciting enough to justify the premium price. Id say its worth about £25-35 for premium.
Also, I get no Bad Company vibes at all from it.

I played the beta, that's very untrue. There's like a 1/50 chance of flipping a cop off when you spot them as a criminal. There's a bunch of rare, hilarious reload animations. You can play songs on the radio including "WHOOP WHOOP DAS THE SOUND OF THE PO-LICE" as you pop 40-mils at the po-po. Just to name a few, that's just in the beta. It doesn't take itself very seriously.
Huh. It looks like they modeled in Benito Martinez ([url]http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0553468/?ref_=tt_cl_t6[/url]) into one of the singleplayer's characters. Pretty cool, considering he did a very good job playing a higher-up officer in The Shield, a really, really good cop show. At least that seems to indicate that they picked through some good material.
Hardlines beta was honestly some of the most fun I've had with a game since I played CTF on Coagulation in Halo 2. Was really great, played like you were actually in an over-the-top cop movie, didn't take itself seriously at all, really. I'm really looking forward to it, I mean people are probably going to pan it with sick battlefield payday maymays and the usual, but if I have the money I'll definitely nab it.

the whole point is that the sp is a fucking tv show type thing about cops who balance on the edge
the mp is fucking insanity, the game doesn't even kinda take itself seriously

i played the beta and had a lot of fun, especially on the hotwire gamemode, the car chases can be so fucking insane sometimes
idk why people keep saying "it's bf3/4" as if there's supposed to be something new and innovative to what is essentially still a war game, they changed the entire theme for christs sake
games are for entertainment/fun, relax and stop taking yourselves so seriously
