My friend is doing a B-Boy club called 'Free Style Nation'. Thanks to Garrysmod I managed to get a good subject for a background. The only issue is that how should I make this pretty? I was thinking about tossing a bunch of splatters around and about, and I am trying to make a graffiti-style logo with the club's acronym FSN in it.
Any suggestions or ideas I can capitalize on?
Don't use a default windows font, look around on dafont and round some of those edges.

I can easily see this being shitted up by cheesy graphics/fonts, poor composition and color, and low resolution textures.
I know absolutely nothing about graphic design, but it seems these days clean and simple seems to win people over.
Here's some quick noise I whipped up;

That's the kind of feel you want, but with a little more soul than just light blue paint bucket and helveticarounded. Maybe someone with graphic design knowledge could elaborate for me?
Any C&C on mine? :I

Anyone here a learned person from Color Theory, or Graphic Design classes?

I should also mention that I used Ellis as the model, and should make the hat more prominent?
The shoes don't fit.
Who goes breakdancing wearing boots. IMO you should use another model before you even attempt to 'fix' the current one.

Then help me find a model that wears nike dunks then.
draw them?

I'll just smooth out the edges then. Any other C&C?
less dirt on FsN, or make it darker
The Splats on FsN make it look cluttered. I'd get rid of them.
