Overheating gpu on any modern game. - Hardware & Software

Hi, ive been having this problem since i had my GPU, a geforce 560 ti, my card runs at 90c degree on any modern game, but now my game keep freezing and goes to black screen, because of driver crash i guess, i have 3 large fans in the computer case and 2 fans on the GPU, so airflow is not a problem, my gpu fans is alway running at 100% but its not enuf, i also changed the thermal paste but it didnt help at all. I dont know what to do to reduce the temps. Though it idle at 30c degree Anyone could help me out please?

You said you changed the thermal paste, did you do anything with the thermal pads on the vRAM?

No, theres a little heatsink on the card, i beleive it is that one? but if vram was overheating, then game would show artifact right? Ill try that and post result back.

Ill try that and post result back.[/QUOTE] Update to the new beta drives. 320.18 has been having problems and making cards overheat, artifacts etc. I got artifacts in BF3 but when updating to the new beta drives, no more problem. 320.49

Nope tried both and i still get 92c on guild wars 2, but when vsycn is on it get down to 80

Well i cant play anymore 2008+ game, alway gets to 95 degree then i get a TDR, so the game crash.

Could the voltage have been changed somehow? Might have accidentally turned it up while messing with EVGA PrecisionX, if you have it that is..

No, all stock, i wonder if its the voltage regulator that could be faulty
