I have an AM3 processor, phenom II X4 955, my current CPU fan is stock, and I would like to upgrade to a 3rd party heatsink to overclock. What is a good one. I'd rather have it be $50 at most, $40 would be nice. Also I would need help on how to apply the thermal paste and whatnot. Any help? Also, I'd rather not put on a bracket, BUT I WILL DO IT IF NEEDED.
Also, my current stock one is really close to my RAM, so I'm a bit worried a 3rd party might not work.

The only instance of someone breaking a computer by installing an aftermarket cooler I've heard of is when someone was trying to install the behemoth Tuniq Tower.
I doubt you'll break anything.

at the time the cable management as you can see is shit, its been much improved. its was probably like that for about 3-4 days until i had the time to sort it, which took 15 minutes.
get the 212, ac7 is shit
