Well, yeah, when it works it can be really fun.
If you ignore that BF3 exists, then BF4 is the real sequel.
Only problems with BF4 I have is that the retail copy I bought is polish/russian only (unlike BF3 which was international) so I have to use weird hacks to be able to play it in English, and that Battlelog is a piece of crap with its "Could not join server" shit 9 out of 10 times I try to connect. Other than that, the game itself is fun.
To be honest, I haven't really had that many issues besides the occasional crashing. I might just be lucky in that regard, but even if I wasn't lucky, I wouldn't call BF4 a bad game. I have lots of fun playing it.
Can't say I disagree really. The game had a poor launch but it's overall well made and a total blast to play. Seriously though guys, fix those sound bugs.

A friend bought me BF3 (he claims it was a retail copy) and when I registered it was a russian version. I went onto their live chat and told them that my key was russian despite myself being english and the guy changed it out for the english version, and as an apology for my troubles he upgraded it to the limited edition. Should work for your copy of BF4. [editline]12th February 2014[/editline]
To be honest, I haven't really had that many issues besides the occasional crashing. I tried it and I've been crash-free for about 2 months.

The only issue I still have now is that it still takes me 3-5mins to load in. ( And no I don't have a SSD )
Thing is, I live in poland, so there's technically nothing wrong with it :v: I just want to play it in English
Ask anyway. Say you bought an english copy.
EA has said something similar to every game they have released in the past few years. Like Red Alert 3
The only issue I still have now is that it still takes me 3-5mins to load in. ( And no I don't have a SSD )
Yeah, the vanilla map load times are ridiculous, but the China Rising maps load oddly fast.
Strange, it was the same with BF3, although to a lesser extent. Vanilla maps took an assload of time to load compared to expansion maps, which would load near instantly for me.
Battlelog is the worst part of BF4 by far. It takes me at least 3 attempts to get in to a game every time I try.
Yeah, the vanilla map load times are ridiculous, but the China Rising maps load oddly fast.
That's due to less destruction binaries having to be loaded in CR compared to base game. I actually really, really like Battlefield 4, it fixed a lot of problems I had with BF3. I just wish it was in a state where I didn't swim under something and find no-draw surfaces. Or have servers at a higher rate than 10-tic.
That's not Battlelogs fault. That's server or connection issue (On either side)
nup i have glorious internet i always get shit like ERROR (1) or a fake punkbuster ban or it just plain doesn't load at all
nup i have glorious internet i always get shit like ERROR (1) or a fake punkbuster ban or it just plain doesn't load at all
So yes, Server and Connection issue. Did you not see (on either part) or my post?
Well, yeah, when it works it can be really fun.
But it doesn't, so it isn't, which means it's a bad product.

The game just feels broken and unbalanced. I enjoy it sometimes, then i really hate it.
The main thing i dislike about bf4 compared to bf3 is the maps, they're absolutely afwul in my opinion.
