Hey!! Asrele here requesting help! I just got this 50cc Scooter and when i release the throttle, the scooter keeps moving. It makes it rather hard to stop and also couldn't be at all good for the scooter.
Just hoping i could get information on it before i bring it into the shop tomorrow, or avoid bringing it in....
Seems the idle is enough to engage the clutch. I'm not sure how you would go about adjusting it so it will stop so hopefully someone else here can help with that.

Or take it to someone who knows what they're doing. I'm guessing its pretty much a five minute fix.
Carburated or Fuel Injected? Post the make and model of it too.
Title says " 07' BASH fuel injected"
Could be like my car, need to lube the throttle cable.
Make sure there isn't any slack in the throttle cable, and also make sure the throttle body isn't opened too much. Just shooting out random suggestions.
There's like 3/8 inch of slack, but it isn't sticking at all.

My pops said he things the clutch isn't releasing when it;s at idle speed.
Because the idle is too high, most likely. Try adjusting the slack out.
tbh you should be happy that it's moving.
scooter are so slow.
Bad joke over////

Your pop is right, it's the clutch. You might need to adjust the weights if it's a centrifugal clutch, or the springs might have gone.
