Honestly, a Mario franchise game on the PC would probably sell like hotcakes, but I can understand what Nintendo's going for. I still do hope they continue to succeed in the console market.
Smash Bros won't utilize the second screen significantly, unless we're talking about the 3DS. Sakurai specifically said the screen on the game pad will do nothing in order to give players with the game pad no edge over players using the Wii remote. :v:
what hardware? wii u hardware fucking sucks. I want some 1080p Majoras Mask HD Remake.
what hardware? wii u hardware fucking sucks. This is good for first-party games, but this will not hold up on a business standpoint. It's eventually going to die down if they keep making themselves look so unwantable to third party developers.
I can't see Nintendo going third party after the success of the Wii
I can see Nintendo going third party after the success of the Wii
Highly doubt that. Nintendo has said loads of times that if they go third-party or are near the option of doing so, then they stop making games. Or something similar to that. I can't find a quote or a page where they said it.
"It's tuned perfectly for that. When Mario bounces from mushroom to mushroom, it feels so responsive because the software has been tuned especially for that hardware," Scibetta said.
I'm not buying this for a second.

As a Wii U owner since launch day, the console is probably the best Nintendo console that we have had for a long time. The only downside is the lack of games, but I'm sure Nintendo will fix that

Nope, hasn't happened yet. Maybe when EA inevitably collapses under its own weight one of these decades. Honestly though, I'd actually prefer it that way if Nintendo stopped game development if they stopped making hardware. Then they atleast have a chance for that legacy to end on a good note, unlike how Sega's gone so goddamn far downhill since they prematurely took the Dreamcast horse out back.
what hardware? wii u hardware fucking sucks. I want some 1080p Majoras Mask HD Remake.
wii u can do 1080p but its still not happening lol enjoy majoras mask on 3ds in like 2 or 3 years
Ehh, Nintendo has been around for over a hundred years. Sony and Sega couldn't take them down back in the 90s. Why would anyone doubt Nintendo?
They need to get back into the arcade machine business.
Nintendo games are nearly always the best looking on the system. I mean, look at Galaxy. One of the best games graphics-wise, and it runs at a smooth 60fps.

So if they start selling games third party, they'll stop making games? [editline]27th June 2013[/editline]
Nintendo games are nearly always the best looking on the system.
[editline]27th June 2013[/editline] But at only 480p
yes like every single other game on the wii it ain't a ps3 kiddo
yes like every single other game on the wii it ain't a ps3 kiddo
Yes, I know. But it's graphical prowess can only be praised so much until you realize it can only render such graphics at such a low resolution.
