I'm setting up a VM just to see if it works in windows XP. Infact recording that way wouldn't even be a huge deal for me.

It doesn't work in a windows XP laptop. I think I'm just gonna email the seller on amazon.
Download some drivers for it.

Nope. No specific drivers. It's plug and play, or atleast the box says that.

Maybe the problem? This was posted in June, so if you've got one thats been lying around for a while it could be the issue
it doesn't work on XP though. I think it's just a DOA product.
I've read and their support seems to be pretty good so I wont go making judgments now.
