• Bryan Fischer: Native Americans morally disqualified themselves from the land

The native American tribes at the time of the European settlement and founding of the United States were, virtually without exception, steeped in the basest forms of superstition, had been guilty of savagery in warfare for hundreds of years, and practiced the most debased forms of sexuality. ... The Lewis and Clark journals record the constant warfare between the nomadic Indian tribes on the frontier, and the implacable hostility of the Sioux Indians in particular. The journals record the morally abhorrent practice of many native American chiefs, who offered their own wives to the Corps of Discovery for their twisted sexual pleasure. (Regrettably, many members of the Corps, Lewis and Clark excepted, took advantage of these offers and contracted numerous and debilitating sexually transmitted diseases as a result.) The native American tribes ultimately resisted the appeal of Christian Europeans to leave behind their superstition and occult practices for the light of Christianity and civilization. They in the end resisted every attempt to “Christianize the Savages of the Wilderness,” to use George Washington’s phrase. They rejected Washington’s direct counsel to the Delaware chiefs in 1779, “You do well to wish to learn our arts and ways of life, and above all, the religion of Jesus Christ.” Thomas Jefferson three times signed legislation appropriating federal tax dollars for the evangelizing of the Native American tribes. It all came to nought, as one tribe after another rejected the offer of spiritual light and advanced civilization. ... God explained to the nation of Israel that because of the “abomination(s)” of the indigenous Canaanite tribes, the land had become unclean and “vomited out its inhabitants (Lev. 18:25).” Is this to say the same holds true for native American tribes today? In many respects, the answer is of course no. But in some senses, the answer is yes. Many of the tribal reservations today remain mired in poverty and alcoholism because many native Americans continue to cling to the darkness of indigenous superstition instead of coming into the light of Christianity and assimilating into Christian culture. The continued presence of native American superstition was on full display at the memorial service for the victims of the Tucson shooter, when the “invocation” (such as it was) was offered by a native American who sought inspiration from the “Seven Directions,” including “Father Sky” and “Mother Earth,” rather than the God of the Bible.
Even worse, the reaction will likely obscure the sobering lesson for today. America in 2011 is as guilty of “abominations” as the native American tribes we replaced. We have the blood of 53 million babies on our hands through abortion. We have normalized sexual immorality, adultery, and homosexuality, all horrors in the eyes of God, and are witnessing a surge in incest, pedophilia and even bestiality in our midst. God warned the ancient nation of Israel not to lapse into the abominable practices of the native peoples “lest the land vomit you out...as it vomited out the nation that was before you” (Lev. 18:28). Time eventually ran out for the Canaanites, because they filled up the full measure of their iniquity. Time ran out for the native American tribes for the same reason. The only question that matters today is this one: how much time does America have left to repent of its superstition, its savagery and its sexual immorality before it is too late, before we will have filled up our own slop bucket and will have morally disqualified ourselves from sovereign control of our own land?

I seriously can't think of anything else to say but: I can't make this shit up... :smith: Source: http://www.afa.net/Blogs/BlogPost.aspx?id=2147503229

Ugh, wow. Probably the most biased thing I have ever read.
Who the fuck is Bryan Fischer?
A very influential voice on the American right-wing.
The man can rant all he wants, I really don't care what he has to say.
He used except instead of accept... Wow
*opens my mouth real wide and starts making sucking noises* PUT UR FUCKING DICKS IN MY MOUF NIGGAS
The man can rant all he wants, I really don't care what he has to say.
Thing is, this guy is really popular with many politicians here. Is that bad? :tinfoil:
He used except instead of accept... Wow
No, his usage of the word was actually correct. He was saying that his statement did not apply to Lewis and Clark themselves, so they were excepted. [editline]9th February 2011[/editline] I think the thing that irks me the most is how he constantly calls their religion a superstition even though Christianity is just as unprovable.
Posters like this OP is whats shitting up the news section. NO BODY GIVES A FUCK. ABOUT OPINION PIECES. IT ISN'T NEWS.
Posters like this OP is whats shitting up the news section. NO BODY GIVES A FUCK. ABOUT OPINION PIECES. IT ISN'T NEWS.
put your dick in my mouth homie do it now fresh do it now fresh do it do it now fresh
"They refused our attempts at spreading the light of Christianity" Euphemism-Remover "Our indoctrination worked so well on our children...why has it failed us?"
Doug's posts are better than what this guy is saying.
Overly biased. He does have good points, but he largely incorporates christianity which for the most part is not necessary to make points such as their savage nature and not accepting civilization was part of the reason that they are so uncommon now.
Posters like this OP is whats shitting up the news section. NO BODY GIVES A FUCK. ABOUT OPINION PIECES. IT ISN'T NEWS.
This isn't the news section.
I thought this was going to be about indians using their territories for casinos.
I thought this was going to be about indians using their territories for casinos.
What do you expect from a man who praises a book that says gays did the holocaust?
What do you expect from a man who praises a book that says gays did the holocaust?
I wasn't familiar with Fischer so I didn't really have any expectation beyond what I just said. He sounds like a man that belongs more on the Oregon trail rather than the radio.

to put it plainly: native americs just aint american enough
I read through this not knowing who Brian Fischer was and I honestly thought it was post-Revolutionary War Fox News.
I don't think this is news worthy.
And most of this threads in there are?
tl;dr: everything belongs to Christians.
I glanced over the text.
God explained-
I stopped here.
Another loudmouth shithead overkill conservative retard shitting all over the general perceptions of American conservatives. Beautiful. Fuck I hate extremists.
leave behind their superstition and occult practices for the light of Christianity
Um what
I once heard that some native American tribes recruited women as tribe leaders for some time, creating long periods of peace.
I understand why you kids are cutting down this particular conservative...he's one of the extreme ones. However, I find it funny how you all constantly associate democrat/liberalism as angelic and perfect. Both sides have some good ideas, and some bad ones. Someone with an unwarped mindset should recognize this, and not consider himself 100% part of either side. He should also realize that each side is just as corrupt as the other, and are both fucking this country up equally.
