If you thought the new cards within the Curse of Naxxramas, think again.
I think somebody needs to think again about this sentence.
Maybe I'm reading the article wrong, but does this mean we'll need to pay to get access to the 100 new cards? Usually expansions mean that we have to pay, unless Naxx was considered an expansion.

I like this idea because it solved the issue of people with 10k gold having nothing to spend it on but arena.
I think somebody needs to think again about this sentence.
Hang on, I got this - *slams face into keyboard* - ah, there are those missing words! Sorry, it's been one of those Sunday's. Thanks for the spot though!
I can never keep up with all these new meta games; Alas I generally only watch other people play it who are much more competent at the game than me
So you can't get the expansion packs from arena?
That's a very good question actually, may have been an oversight by the devs as there was no mention of this in the interview.
I feel like games like this should be be extremely random when getting cards. That's what I loved back in the day when buying booster packs, you'd never know if you were going to get some piece of shit or something awesome or maybe even ~~a legendary~~ So I didn't like (nor did I even bother putting money into) the naxxaramus bosses because the drops were pretty much garrunteed. I bought one and I felt like I was just buying some specific set cards out of the store. The process was really, buy>fight enemies>get cards you knew you were going to get before you even paid remove the second step and you are basically just buying cards out of the blizzard store, no fun for me. I think it'd be far more awesome (and a bit of a snippet out of world of warcraft dungeon drops and stuff) if they put a bit more effort into it and had maybe a few cards per enemy and perhaps 10 per boss (I'm not sure if this would be economically viable time wise but I'm just stating my opinion on what I'd like to see happen) and had them have a drop rate instead of a fixed 100% drop chance. At least then I'd feel like I have a special card more because I'm lucky and put a bit of time and effort into it and not because I like to waste my money on in-game transactions. Otherwise I feel like I'm just buying some cards the second I hit the buy button and then fighting some silly boss so I can get the cards I've already paid for. If it was random I'd be more like "what's it going to be?what's it going to be?what's it going to be?what's it going to be?what's it going to be?what's it going to be?what's it going to be?what's it going to be?what's it going to be?what's it going to be?"
Unless they print some stuff to patch over the fundamental flaws with the gameplay, count me out. The entire game has degenerated down to massive burst turns because you cannot respond to your opponents actions directly, and they can choose their own targets. That's also made utility creatures far less useful and common than they would otherwise be. Someone told me to watch some tournament yesterday, and it was just revolting to see how boring the gameplay is without the ability to influence plays on defense. Oh also, a bunch of the nax cards are fucking broken. Loatheb is literally in 100% of decks I've seen. I've yet to see a deck that doesn't run it if it can. It's sylvanas 2.0, except even more bullshit tempo swinging fuckupery. If this is a hint of the powercreep to come, I'm never coming back.
