• Weird PC stuttering

I have a bad feeling that I screwed up something with my Overclock because as the title says I have been having stuttering issues across the board, when I am just browsing the internet, in game, when I am watching youtube videos, etc. The symptoms are not just video but also, audio. When I listen to music it is impossible to listen to a song without it getting interrupted at least 3 times by an odd audial buzzing coming from my speakers which lasts about 1.5 seconds before it returns to normal. At first I thought it was just my sound card (before I noticed the visual stuttering) so I switched to integrated sound to no avail. My CPU is a C2D OC'ed to 2.66Ghz (8x333mhz, ram is running at 667mhz with timings of 5-5-5-15). After an hour of playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. the max temps my cores reached were 44C and 40C respectively. The only disconcerting temperature reading I am getting is that according to HWMonitor, The System and CPU temps maxed at 87C. I am hoping that is just a faulty sensor as it got a minimum reading at 9C and 3C respectively. So any ideas as to what is going on?
set it back to factory settings, and see if it persists.
Have you run stability tests? Like Prime95
Yeah I have run Prime95 for about an hour with no errors, should I run it longer?

Carry out a Prime95 test, then revert the the PC hardware to 'factory settings'.
Well as it turns out all it was was conflicting drivers. When I used DriverSweeper to remove my sound card drivers and removed my sound card, both the visual and audio stuttering went away.
