I want this game so, so much. Interviews are not helping.
Hah, Ray Kurzweil.
And I like how they demonstrated it to the original team and got their feedback. You know, this game could either be an incredible hit and fully meet the expectations set by the series or absolutely fail, but from what has been shown, its doing a great job of following the legacy. Sure, it may not be exactly the same, but honestly, that is perfectly fine. If you don't change things up, you just end up with the exact same game as before, but with some new dialog and maybe a few new items and enemies. Each new iteration of a game must make changes to the formula of the previous ones.
After seeing the leak i have full confidence in the game devs.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is worth all the praise it gets, true successor to Deus Ex.
This looks and sounds awesome, I really need to play the first two.

You don't really need to play DX:IW, it's not like it's an awful game, it's not really even bad, but they took a lot of steps back from the original, which was unnecessary in my opinion.
the leak made me pre-order the game, it's that good
the combat mechanics are improved from the first game (obviously) and the stealth mechanics are more or less the same
I am really hesitant of pre-ordering games, but I may have to pre-order this one. Seems to be turning out fantastically
I like how Mary answers the question "What would you say about the original Deus Ex that you wanted to avoid in this game?" with "I liked the second game."
PLEASE don't tell me they completely ignored the original and decided to get all of their ideas from the second game. They would essentially be building off of fail with that.
You've played the leak, and you know full well that's not what happened. Why would you even post this?
The Leak made me feel like I was playing a true to heart Deus Ex game, the music and atmosphere is great. The orange instead of blue look actually fits pretty well and won't drive you away from the great deus ex feel.

Well, like they said, their inspiration for that was the use of candles as lighting during the historical renaissance. When you look at the world of Human Revolution which is far in advance of anything we have today, it is easily a futuristic renaissance.
See, being able to create a game with a substantial and understandable depth of imagery is a talent rarely seen, but one capable of creating truly remarkable games.
