House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called on the FBI on Tuesday to "accelerate its investigation" into connections between members of President Donald Trump's administration and Russia.
"The FBI must accelerate its investigation of the Russian connection with the Trump Administration," Pelosi said in a statement released Tuesday. "The American people deserve to know the full extent of Russia’s financial, personal and political grip on President Trump."
She said that Flynn's resignation reflected Trump's "poor judgment" and raised "grave answers" about the President's role in Flynn's conversations with Russia's ambassador to the United States.
"By what authority did Flynn act and to whom did he report?" Pelosi added.

It is important for the american people to know if we are apart of Russia now or not.
Flynn resigning was an incredibly short-sighted move. If he had stuck with it and just pulled "wow fake news alternative facts you're all wrong," the administration could've crippled the media (again) and the House would've just ignored the entire situation.
But resignation has always implied guilt, and most people are going to look at this and go "why did he resign if he didn't do anything wrong?" If the media keeps pressing this, and uncovers actual concrete dirt, his resignation won't matter, because he'll be jumping from the frying pan into the fire. His resignation will make people go from "wow more liberal conspiracy theories" to the age-old logic of "why care if you have nothing to hide."
they should keep probing, and expand their probe to the entire adminitration as it's all a bit slimy, but they probably won't.
