I had just gotten this LCD HDTV about a week or two ago, and now I've noticed one of the pixels is stuck on magenta. It's only that color on light backgrounds, for some reason. Is there anyway to fix this besides using that program that randomly switches colors every half second? I tried that for five hours and it has had no effect. :(

Most if not all monitors will have a few dead pixels on them. Most manufacturers have a limit on how many dead pixels can be on the screen, as having thousands upon thousands of pixels on one screen, one of them is bound to be defective.

What he has is a stuck pixel, which should be fixable
