FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say three children have been injured after a waterspout made landfall on a Fort Lauderdale beach and sent an inflatable bounce house flying into the air. Fort Lauderdale Police spokesman Keven Dupree says when the waterspout came ashore Monday afternoon, it uprooted the bounce house and sent it across a parking lot and over four lanes of traffic. Dupree says there were three children in the bounce house when it went airborne. They immediately fell onto the sand. Dupree says they were alert and conscious when they were taken to a hospital.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/05/25/children-injured-bounce-house_n_7437800.html
Everyone is watching this thing roll in and nobody thought "hey, maybe we should get the kids out of the thing that can fly away"?
Some people can't be trusted with grounding jumpy castles
That sounds like a lot of fun.
Some people can't be trusted with grounding jumpy castles
It was hit by a mini-tornado... even the best pegs would give.
That looked like way more than 15 feet to me.
That sounds like a lot of fun.
All three were injured, one with a broken arm
All three were injured, one with a broken arm
It could be fun, in theory at least, if there weren't other people to bump in to.
Just one obese child in that house could have saved them all.
I heard of this happening year(?s?) ago before, three children as well at a suburban home please don't use air filled things on windy days, or at all, unless you have it SECURED
All three were injured, one with a broken arm
that's how you know it's REAL FUN
I heard of this happening year(?s?) ago before, three children as well at a suburban home please don't use air filled things on windy days, or at all, unless you have it SECURED
It was a freak accident a water spout appeared out of nowhere it was probably warm then it got cold and boom a water spout appears.
please don't use air filled things on windy days, or at all, unless you have it SECURED
What does this even mean to anyone on this forum
Three Children Injured In Bouncy Castle When It Decided to Fly Away
FTFY
Just one obese child in that house could have saved them all.
Not really, the bounce house broke a concrete basketball hoop in half to be able to fly away.
I heard of this happening year(?s?) ago before, three children as well at a suburban home please don't use air filled things on windy days, or at all, unless you have it SECURED
It was secured, look at the picture in the news article. It was tied down to that.
That is WAY more than 15 feet. Looks closer to 30 feet.
The wording on the title creates the mental image of that the bouncy castle just had enough with being trampled on and took off :v:
I know it's off topic, but those news... hostesses, lol. They are all tanned and dressed like they are reporting from a summer evening party or something :v:
Everyone is watching this thing roll in and nobody thought "hey, maybe we should get the kids out of the thing that can fly away"?
Have you ever tried to get a little kid out of a bouncy house? They will fight you with their tiny fists. :v:
Some people can't be trusted with grounding jumpy castles
Well yeah, they're just kids.
