Gotta love that cheesy 80's opening.
Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert are two film critics from Chicago who like to talk about movies. I always love watching their reviews even if I've seen the movie before and even if I've never heard of it ever. Even if I disagree with them I like watching their reviews because it's just entertaining as hell to listen to them talk about movies.

Of course watching them argue is the best part about the show.

They also have their yearly "best of" and "worst of" lists which are pretty fun to watch.
When Gene Siskel died of Brain Cancer in 1999, the show experimented with some different critics.

You can really see the age difference between these guys in their reviews.
American Psycho

The female guest critics seemed to always suck.
Until they stuck with Richard Roeper. He's not bad, but really I don't think he fills the void of Gene very well. Maybe if he were bald or something.

The show was canceled just several months ago but a new version of the show with Roger Ebert is supposed to arise in a little bit. He won't review the movies but he will have his own segment looking at classic, overlooked and new films. Because he lost his voice due to cancer he will be using a cool robot voice which is awesome.
You used to find all their reviews on their website but for some reason it was taken down. You can find a good chunk of them on youtube but some seem to be lost forever.

A good compilation of the show's most goofy moments. Look in the related videos thingy for more by the same guy.
Siskel...
:sigh:
Roger Ebert is a terrible critic.
That bitch who reviewed American Psycho with him shouldn't be a film critic.
what did that bitch say about american psycho
what the hell is wrong with her holy shit

At times, yes. I don't think he's a terrible critic, but he's certainly seen better days.
