• Using Foobar2000 to Combine Several Songs.

Ok, I'm trying to use Foobar2000 to merge a few songs in a specific way. It all needs to come out as one track though, which is what my problem is. I don't know if anyone here has done this but the songs "10,000 Days", "Viginti Tres" and "Wings for Marie" from the latest Tool album can be combined to make up another song. I need to get Viginti Tres and Wings for Marie to play one after the other while 10,000 Days plays alongside them. If anyone can help me it'd be great.
Use Audacity. Easy to use open source sound editor.
Ok, I've managed to put it all together in Audacity, but one track is about 2.5 seconds longer than the other. How do I shave a bit of the silence of the start of one of them?
just select the part and click delete
But how do I select a precise amount? [editline]16th June 2011[/editline] I can only select sections to the nearest second.
Try zooming in.
Alright, I think I've got it right now... Thanks.
Or just listen to it on youtube: [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFjEp79zaNw[/hd] Must say though, I love Tool and I didn't know about this at all. Thanks :)
