• Dallas LAN Party/ FP meetup demand?

Howdy FPers! After attending quakecon (the largest LAN party I have ever been to), Ive gotten the LAN party bug stuck in my head. I was wondering if there was any demand for a LAN party/FP meetup in Dallas, Texas. Right now, Im looking into rates for meeting space at the Quality Inn on LBJ. Not a great hotel (used to be the harvey hotel), but its a chain so it cant be too bad. Since this would be my first event A) Outside of my home and B) with more than 8 people, I figured I'd start easy and go with 24 people. That way we could do 2 simultaneous TF2 tournaments with teams of 6. Thoughts? FUCK YEAH DALLAS
a bunch of redneck nerds meeting together in one place to discuss how much they hate that nigger obama while playing video games together sounds bomb as fuck man (User was permabanned for this post ("Doug" - cosmic duck))
How did you know that we all hate Obama???? And yeah, we are all retarded rednecks. Like those people at TI who make every semiconductor you have ever used... YAWLZ BE TRAWLIN
Yes, he was.
Don't feel like driving all the way up there
only if its all boys. <3<3
Don't feel like driving all the way up there
All the way up to LBJ? Or all the way up to Dallas? The specific location in Dallas is highly negotiable
I always wanted to go to quakecon, how much people were there this year?
I have some pics of the BYOC on my phone...Ill make a panorama and upload it http://photosynth.net/edit.aspx?cid=C074FCB9-9480-4C86-971D-BDCB9125863B&firstview=1

What company doesn't? But still, a huge amount of design (and even some manufacturing) is done right here in DFW and the surrounding North Texas Area. In white collar communities, Dallas is nearly identical to its neighbors farther north. Now the blue collar guys...yeah...they can be mega-rednecks
