So i currently been having trouble with my pc for some time now i think its dying. With every game screen would go a lined colours 5-7 times a day random. Id still beable to hear ingame sound but not beable to do anything else than hit the power button on pc. I think this is GPU sided but its been to long i think it fucked up my entire pc now. I did install w7 on it awhile back but that didnt fix it infact i tried alot of things but lets keep that aside now.
Now i havent been following hardware for a long time and i was wondering if you guys could put a new pc together for me would be really appreciated.
My current specs are :
QX6850 3.0GHz
ATI HD5870
4GB ddr2 ram
1TB harddisk ( I plan on reusing this if this is wise so i dont have to make backups or shouln't i be doing that? )
So im looking for something that would last me another few years my budget is 1500-1800euro. I think an SDD card would be good to put windows on which ones do you recommend?, Also im switching back to nvidia, Since i think the problem of this pc came from the amd card since i replaced it from a 8800gtx about a year ago. I read about the 660TI would be a good cheap, performance friendly card or are there new ones out now or do you guys think its wise to wait a few months for better cards to come out?
Thanks in advance.
PSU? Also, in which country do you reside?
Motherboard: (Not quite sure yet, but i recommend Intel's Desktop series, they are reliable as fuck)
CPU: 3570K
GPU: 660 TI
RAM: Corsair 8GB Vengeance (1600mhz)
