No EA. GO AWAY! Lets not ruin another title due to your tactics.
EA steps in to corrupt another game series (can we call KoA a series?)
EA published KoA
[editline]13th July 2012[/editline]
all this article is saying is that EA would like to publish a sequel
I love how even in the title of the article the word love is in inverted comma cause everyone knows EA's terrible plans
It would be neat if we will have a sequel to this game, although they need to ramp up the difficulty an remove those derpy faces. Perhaps get some new voice actors and finally give the player more freedom in terms of movement, the levels felt so limited.

Um, so you guys know that the first Kingdoms of Amalur was published by EA. Right?
Of course you do, EA. Nobody will buy it though.
Some how it is going to turn into a "Buy to win" not sure how.... but EA is sneaky about their evil plans
I'm surprised they're still charging $40 for this game digitally and $50 retail.
I don't know what they expect to gain by doing that.
Kingdoms of Amalur wasnt that good.
It was actually extremely repetitive and felt like I was playing a single player version of WoW except the combat was more action but got old real fast.
What's with all the boxes? All they is that they would love to publish a sequel. As Jerry said, you guys ARE aware they published the last game right? Oh wait, EA hate bandwagon right, let's not throw logic in here!

KoA was the semi success it was only thanks to EA. What are you smoking? The problem with KoA was that the studio was starting with a far too big game to begin with. They needed 3mega sales just to break even I think.
An unknown studio with nothing under their belt.

It's not EAs fault they spent too much and made too little.
Reading the title I expected to open the thread and find EA were planning a kickstarter project for KoA2.
everyone stop with this bashing EA published the first game and it was pretty fucking cool
I played the entirety (well, not all the quests, but at least the main quest) of the first game, would like to see a sequel. Was a bit too easy though.
I don't think the first one was anything particularly special anyway to be honest.
I liked the first one. I like how the first posts are generic snipes.
KoA is gonna go KiA :(

And the fact that the company obviously payed Day9 to do that massive stream marathon with all of the most popular twitch guys to play that game, I really dont think Day9 just had the thought of "Hmm lets make a huge marathon with all these guys for a random ass game that has no hype while I do interviews with the developers"
No one would have even heard about it if it wasnt for that.

Or maybe because it's a direct quote and they tend to do that?
Oh wait, EA, blind hatred and shit.

Ya but EA is pretty bad, I mean just look at what they did to Dead Space.
How much more does EA need to fuck their customers up the ass before people actually start to realize that EA is a horrible company? They have produced countless horrific business practices, and trashed countless games.
People are "bandwagoning" because they're upset with a company that does not value their customers? Give me fucking break.
You didn't get him at all.
It's fine to bandwagon, but it's not fine to bandwagon at a completely wrong time, such as this one. Everyone is flipping shit about EA publishing a potential KoA 2 when they published the first one.
