A pretty basic song that I made to test a new mixing style.
This one is softer, more full and bass-centric.
Wow. What the hell is with that sound in the beginning? It sounds like everything has been St. Anger'd - that is to say, everything sounds like a tin trash can.
Actually, the entire song has that going on. I feel that the guitar has way too much low-end, in comparison to mids or trebs. The bass solo thing right at 1:00 is pretty neat, though.
Those guitars need more crunch, though, in my opinion. I know that they're synthesized, but they sound more like synths than guitars (trust me, Hakita, I know the restrictions in regards to making synth guitars sound good).
Gotta say, though, the riffs are pretty solid, and the drums are easily the best in the mix, though the things where you have the splash every eighth, such as around 0:30, could sound better. I know there's not much you can do on that front, though.
Did you put each instrument on the kit in a separate channel and mix accordingly?

Well I've boosted up the mids and trebs a bit in my gpx file now, but I'm not exactly sure how I would go about adding more crunch.
Also, I didn't seperate each instrument on the kit and mix accordingly, because I'm more of a going-with-the-flow type of guy.
I don't really want it to sound over-produced, as long as it's listenable, I think its good.
