Avast! 5 Home Edition for antivirus.
Avast! 5 Home Edition for antivirus.
ppft MSE is where its at
very nice thread. I'd like to add Audacity to the list.
Avast! 5 Home Edition for antivirus.
Seconded. Also, some miscellaneous suggestions: Notepad++ (Notepad replacement) KeePass Password Safe (password manager) Process Explorer (task manager replacement) Thunderbird (email client) If you want a browser category then of course Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari Filezilla (FTP client) I've got a bunch more but I don't know if they (or these for that matter) would fit in this thread, depends on if you want to cover the whole range of freeware or just a few specific categories.
Put up this link: http://ninite.com/ Select what programs you want and the website lets you download a handy installer that downloads your selection and installs them all by itself. And all of them are free. (With the exception of the Microsoft Office Trial Version)

What gets on my wick with Foobar is that none of these good looking setups are available as default.
