more like 77% of the uk would rather sit at home than go outside and visit boring shops. seriously who cares about shit like this.
Well no shit? If I could buy something without getting off my fucking ass and using fuel, and not have to pay for tax, then I would.
Apart from shop's we've got fuck all to do round here, more entertainment indoors so people are indoors.
i never travel far to shop and if i have to i check online first
Until shops drive around like icecream vans selling their goods I will continue to purchase things online. The wait for delivery is better than having to pay to get into town to buy shit.
The only thing I might buy in a show is food and xbox games, as they're usually cheaper retail.

Online grocery store? And you call Americans lazy....
Online grocery store? And you call Americans lazy....
Why go to the supermarket when the supermarket can come to you?
Online grocery store? And you call Americans lazy....
It's generally cheaper, as there's significantly less impulse buying.
Also, the delivery only costs £3 or so, which is often cheaper than the petrol.
Not to mention from a speed point of view, with favourites and recommended, you can generally do a shop in half an hour, as opposed to an hours walk around a store, buying everything you need except for one thing, which you only realise after a 20 min drive home. That can also be avoided with online shopping, as you can check the kitchen for the garlic or whatever you want.
It's the future!

The general idea is that you're going to do a weekly shop there while you're at work and when you get home it'll arrive.
if everything wasn't cheaper off amazon I might consider buying games/movies/consumer electronics in actual stores, but honestly it's a lot of extra hassle for no concievable benefit
online banking is somewhat annoying to use so I don't blame a lot of people for using it
never done online grocery shopping though

not to mention if you live in london and don't drive it's a pretty good way to do it

why are internet explorer users always dumb
Speaking of technology and shopping, whenever I'm in a store and see something on sale I always quickly google it to see if it's not cheaper online.
