Fixed an issue where players would be asked to quit the game while using text chat in Golf and pressing the "E" key.
Oh god, this was even more annoying than the long loading times. You couldn't use the most common letter in the English language if you wanted to chat while playing golf. Hitting e would instantly cancel your message and prompt you to quit playing golf (leaving jobs before they're finished is something that contributes to being a Bad Sport, no less!) no matter what. I'm glad that's fixed. The Steam overlay/alt-tab fix is good, too.

Fixed my Right Mouse Button CTD, so I'm happy
It's funny how every media outlet says this patch is shit because it breaks mods rockstar maybe it's time to get the memo
Why was this posted a day after the patch came out? Also did they seriously not do any research on this? Modders have already released a fix for modding just mere hours after the patch.

still waiting for a memory leaks fix....
Would be nice if they'd separate SP and Online and give new Online that has no progression which could be used to host dedicated servers or lan server. Imagine playing Cop Mods or actually using Maximum Ped/Vehicle variety settings.

[editline]4th May 2015[/editline] Also, the patch didn't break my Field of View modifier.

[editline]4th May 2015[/editline] Also, the patch didn't break my Field of View modifier.
The mod-breaking changes were only to the scripting environment, they made no attempt at breaking the FoV mod. The ScriptHook guy seems convinced breaking his mod was deliberate; I lack the engine insight to judge that.
they did add a DLL checker and any script mod will get you banned eben in single player unless you pull your internet cable before launching and plug it in once you finished playing. There is also a launch command but I'm not sure if it is 100% safe with that
But then people would have no reason to buy shark cars! Do you want Rockstar to starve, you evil bastard?
I doubt they'll be in dire straits if shark cars aren't a thing anymore. Maybe the difference between a solid gold humvee at christmas or a simple gold plated humvee?

Isn't this like any other game where you wait half a day and the modders just fix the issues themselves?
Isn't this like any other game where you wait half a day and the modders just fix the issues themselves?
The problem is that the first day, it was a FOV adjuster and trainer that's used to cheat in multiplayer/singleplayer. I have a friend who keeps using it, swearing that he only uses it in private sessions so he won't get caught. He's also an idiot so when he does I'll probably laugh.
i hoped they had changed the annoying thing where entering a message in the restart lobby of a job by pressing enter would prompt you to quit it to enter a message you've got to type it out hit enter then hit escape to get back to it, worthy of a mini heart attack every time lmao
