I would. Something tells me that it has to do with The Last of Us 2, given that the first one was so successful. No developer would want to work on something that would pretty much be a guaranteed flop.

After 6+ years of Uncharted and TLoU(which is exactly the same as Uncharted gameplay-wise) I'd want to leave to do something different too.

I get your point and all, that change can be refreshing, but in what universe do the two games have exactly the same gameplay? Sure, they're third-person and you kill things, but other than that they're hardly similar.
