Nah there's a mod that seems to have a real hateboner for the game. He's been fucking with the titles for each topic about No Man's Sky for the In The News section for a while now.
I wouldn't question it, they really don't like it when you spoil their fun.
Each title edit lead to the Missing Icon showing up he's done it for 3 articles so far. I can't wait till this game is out, so we don't need to deal with this anymore.

I sued to preorder games but logic hit me like a freight train one day and I haven't preordered a damn thing in years.

Sure it looks overhyped, maybe lacking in content, it's a big project for a relatively small dev team, whatever. Why can't people leave it there? Instead, it seems like every time it's mentioned people just come in and shit all over it and people who are excited about it.

I mean I don't blame people if they're being cautious about this game, it seems stupidly ambitious and the devs haven't made anything like it. There's a million and one ways it can go wrong. Also there is the matter that some of us are kind of annoyed that Sony used it as filler for their press conferences for like three straight fucking years, instead of using that time for new game announcements.
