Turnouts in Venezuelan constituent assembly election 'tampered with'
Turnout numbers for Sunday's controversial vote in Venezuela have been "tampered with", the company that provided the voting system alleges.
Venezuela's electoral authorities said more than eight million people voted in the elections for a new constituent assembly.
But the CEO of Smartmatic, Antonio Mugica said the actual turnout differed by at least one million.
The opposition has also said the figures were inflated.
Turnout is seen as crucial in the vote. Given that the opposition refused to field candidates, the figure gives an indication of support for the government.
This should be obvious to anybody who knows even the slightest thing about the constituent assembly, but this is now an official confirmation from a very well respected source, which just happens to be the manufacturer of the voting machines used in the election. It confirms, beyond reasonable doubt, that the election was a sham.

Wow didn't think there would be something as concrete as this to prove it was a sham

The announced 8 million figure is entirely made up, it doesn't even match the amount of times the button for voting was pressed. Further examination should reveal even more discrepancies, but this at the very least proves to be the biggest electoral fraud in the history of Latin America.
The amount of Half-assing it Maduro's government does to gain more power is beyond pathetic...
