Schoolboy tells Labour politician he's voting UKIP to "get all the foreigners out" - Polidicks

Some of the most educated people on this planet have also been some of the most racist fucks to ever walk the earth. Plenty of Klansmen, for example, hold college degrees, and a large amount of dictators and racist politicians have gone to ivy league schools. Some people are just brainwashed by their upbringing to be racist and no amount of schooling will fix that. Whether this kid is like that or not is up for debate, I don't know 'im so I can't say either way, but it's a bit silly to think education is a cure-all solution for a complex issue that stems from many sources.

Economically, these are tough times all around the world. One thing you see time after time throughout recorded history, when times are tough people look for scapegoats. The poor and/or immigrants are ALWAYS targets of this. That's why in economic boom times no one talks about or cares about things like immigration. As soon as money gets tight though it's a different story. I wish people would see that and not be so easily suckered into blaming the wrong people for their troubles. Kids like this probably hear their family members, such as parents, going off on 'foreigners' every day. If only life's problems were so simple.

The Roma are especially bad for this as they have no respect for anything, constantly steal shit and try to scam people. The local hospital in which both my parents work has recurrent issues with Roma storming in demanding medical care while stealing from other patients, damaging equipment and being a nuisance because they just can't sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up. A few years back an entire road right in front of an apartment complex was blockaded by these idiots because they decided to set up camp in the middle of the street, and they refused to move until the police came in. Doesn't mean they're all this problematic, but the part that is sure is fucking annoying.

Some of those people now consider themselves so British that they fill anti-immigration parties. It takes decades for integration to take place. People need to give it more time. The more diverse groups, the longer it can take. That's just human.
