• Moving Steam

Alright, so I have vista and windows 7 both on the same computer but installed on different drives. Steams installed on the "Vista" hard drive and i want to move it to my "Windows 7" drive. The problem is I don't want to just re-install steam because then i would have to re-download Bad Company 2 because it destroyed my bandwidth last month. Would it be possible to just click and drag the steam file to another drive and have it running fine?
Copy steamapps and steam.exe to your other hard-drive and then run steam.exe, it'll keep your games but steam will be installed onto windows 7.
Thanks.
