My microphone makes abunch of noise when boost is on?

Yea, and when I turn the boost off, the noise quiets down until the point where It isn't really noticeable, but my mic barley hears me unless I put it up to my mouth, can anyone help?

I know in windows 7 you can adjust how much you want the boost to be. I guess you can turn off the boost and see set your microphone volume higher for games and programs if they go any higher or if your headset has a button for muting the mic you can keep your boost on and flick the switch on and off when you need it or when you don't. Those are my only ideas lol, sorry
