Yes. If you have been waiting for a price drop, it is well worth it.
However, the DLCs so far have been really meh. I wouldn't advise getting them unless you want additional cosmetics and a few challenge enemies.
I didnt regret a single penny for buying XCOM2 on release date, if you liked Enemy Unknown/Within, DEFINITELY get XCOM2.
I like this game and really adore the customization that comes with it, but I just wish the timed missions would please just take a break. You can never fully explore the stealth mechanics and do your objective properly with the game threatening to arrest all your troops when the timer ends.
Even worst the objectives can be really far away as such bum rushing to the objective can get your troops caught, which ruins a good ambush opportunity. Is this fixable by mods, of course it is but I wish mods weren't the ones to fix this.. Look Bradford I know that time is of the essence but come on humanity would you please just lighten up! :dogchill:

There is several mods that removes/let's you extend the timer via INI, if that's what you're asking (I'm not sure, just wanted to recommend these mods for people who want to remove mission timers):

I also have my master mod collection for people who want more conventional/resistance weapons for X2: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=661213685
Have they improved the performance?
Why did Steam just send me an email to tell me that the Alien Hunters DLC is on sale when it isn't?

There's a mod that makes it so the timer doesn't start ticking down until your squad has been detected. This makes stealth way more viable on timed missions.

It's good to mention that it also makes the timers way shorter when you finally manage to get detected, so it's still pretty balanced that way.
