Whenever flash is in use, my iowait skyrockets. I have now resorted to downloading any flash based videos and playing them with vlc. If you have any ideas, let me know.

install Gnash.

What type of flash are you running? 32-bit? 64-bit? 64-bit in nspluginwrapper?
Install another iPad on it.

By flash, I'm sure you're referring to youtube... So use a webkit browser for html5 support, and un install flash.

gnash and lightspark have been progressing lately.
