I loved the portal 2 ending, I don't want to spoil anything so I won't go into detail.

My first thought upon seeing the title was Grim Fandango. Glad to see it mentioned in the article.

The best ending I've experienced so far was Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood's.

I loved Metro 2033. It was not only a satisfying cliff hanger, but it also left you guessing if you did the right thing.

Any ending that isn't a lead up to a sequel.

Ending of golden sun: the lost age.

DoW 2: Retribution. Space Marine ending.

For me it was bad company 2

Dragon Age 2.

Metal Gear Solid 4's, despite the whole story being batshit insane, the ending just felt perfect and ended the game series I grew up with very well.

I liked Call of Duty 4s ending and Halo: Reach.

I liked the ending of Half-Life 3 where Gordon gets executed by a Combine commander.

GTA IV had quite nice ending, although I had the [sp]bad one[/sp].

I really liked RDR's and Halo Reach's Oh also Saint's Row 2 "What do we do now?" "Whatever the fuck we want"

Call of Duty 4. That ending was amazing. But then it was ruined by endings like MW2's and Bad Company 2's, so now it's not special anymore.

The first time I finished the original Portal I got a warm fuzzy feeling.

The only ones i can think of are Hitman: Blood Money Metal Gear Solid I liked Final Fantasy 7 but I didn't like the ending particularly, it was nothing special. I need to play more games.

Civilization V. What's a more satisfying ending than coming out the most victorious civilization?

I find unhappy endings to be somehow better than good ones. Sort of like the end of The Departed.
