It doesn't help that they run on the same engine and play exactly the same
"With Medal of Honor we tried to embrace that the game is 'real.'"
They're going to have a hard time proving this one. :v:
They're going to have a hard time proving this one. :v:
EA has pulled a lot more shit than usual lately. Maybe with Activision for sale, they're trying to woo Kotick to join them?
I wonder how the newer Medal of Honor games would be like if they had MOHAA game play style. Probably wouldn't fit modern day gaming (not saying it is bad, I love MOHAA)
They could differentiate them by keeping the shitty, small corridor/chokepoint maps out of Battlefield
My theory is that to compete with the yearly CoD releases they are going to have two games: Medal of Honor, and Battlefield. Each game will release in the other game's off-season, thereby complimenting each other. Much like how Treyarch and Infinityhammer both work on CoD but in separate years. [editline]17th July 2012[/editline] Why can't I hold all these brown shooter games
Honestly, my first thought is that it says something if the two franchises are so similar you need to make an effort to make sure they go their own direction.

First try to differentiate them from Call of Duty.
