Is it me or is fat, as seen below, annoying as fuck? I mean Jesus this shit around the edges is absolutely disgusting, I hate having to cut around it in steak just to eat the small remainder of meat around it. Sometimes there's so much fat it's like the fat is the main part, and the small piece of bacon/steak is what's around it. It really pisses me off. And oh fuck, chewing this makes me lose my appetite. Even accidentally getting it inside your mouth makes me want to RAGE. I swear it's just like the fat is trolling us hardcore. I kinda get what you're saying about steak, but i eat huge steaks all the damn time and i never have to cut off more than say...a fingernail worth of fat, total. Porkchops though, that's hell. at least half of it is fat.
I was out for dinner with my family. I ordered the steak. By the time I had gone through one mouthful everyone else had finished and my jaw was sore. Fucking fat bastard animal.
I know it's supposed to savor/keep the flavor in the meat but damn it is annoying.

That stuff's fine. What I hate is when you cook the bacon and one end props up, and one bit of fat doesn't get cooked. Than you take a bite and, surprise! Spongy disgusting bullshit!
I already know the fat is what gives it flavor, I'm just saying it's annoying as hell. Also, cooked fat on bacon is indeed good. But when it's spongy... fuck my life

Although fat is disgusting by itself quite a lot of lean meat is just tasteless and hard without some degree of fat

Get higher quality meats and cuts, and then from that go through the packages to find the ones with the least fat on them.
I only like the fat off of bacon, the fat off of anything else is my dogs problem
