I currently have a Razer copperhead and Now I know that is some what of a good mouse but the middle click doesnt work and it is getting a bit "used" So I have been looking at some new mice and it seem the new standard is 5700 Dpi instead of 2000 So I was wanting to maybe step up to that but are there any mice in the $50 dollar price range that has 5700 Dpi that is a good quality mouse? I was looking at the G500 but it is a little out of my price range

I'm getting the CM Storm Sentinel. Cheap and decent, as far as I have tried it.

Its only 800 Dpi
twice as much as you need
Mx518
Cooler Master Sentinel Advanced? 5600 DPI though.
This is the best kind of mouse:

I even use one like this with my Mac.

Thats the one I meant. I always mix up the 510 and 518.
MX518 or G500, pretty much the same but the G500 has some additional features
Mionix Naos 3200. I wuv it do death.
The razer naga!
Speaking of new Mice, the MX518 I ordered came in the mail today just in time for my keyboard to break.
It looks promising, it fits nice in the hand.

no
not only is it out of the OPs budget but it's also a terrible mouse and you should feel bad for even suggesting it

I'm using 1800 here, and I completely disagree.
I wonder which brand started the whole "HIGHER DPI BETTER MOUSE HURR DURR". It's getting quite annoying.

G500
This or if you can go a bit higher the G9X.
microsoft sidewinder x8, it's a beauty
i would say that non-clicky scroll button on the g500 completely destroys the feeling of the mouse since it is in the way for my finger
Can't you just make it clicky by pressing that button under it?
Cooler Master Sentinel Advanced? 5600 DPI though.
(Probably even worse than that Razer mouse)
This is the best mouse you will ever own :P

1000 dpi, side buttons which can be programmed to do whatever you want, 5 year warenty, what else...
The R.A.T. series is on sale at new-egg right now. the 5 is only $60.
Can people really tell the difference between 5000dpi and 1600dpi?
Frankly I can't even justify using a lower sensitivity with 1600dpi as opposed to normal sensitivity with 400dpi on my MX518.

This. I've been using one for the past 6 months, hasn't shown any signs of wear or falling apart, etc. Pretty comfortable too. It also has on-the-fly adjustable DPI with a range of 200 to 5700 DPI. (I never use anything over 3000 though)
