This show is awesome. It shows you all the strange/taboo foods from alot of different countries. Really interesting to look at how people cook and eat their foods. Here's a episode where he go to the Philippines:
That Balut stuff looks pretty nice
I like this show. It's a great way to learn about the foods and cultures of other races. I love how open he is
Whats interesting about this guy was that he was homeless before the show, He lived in shelters and finally scraped up money to move to Brasil, and he sampled a bunch of odd food and sent a video of him eating all these foods to Discovery US. They loved it and that's how the show was born, that's pretty damn badass.
sometimes andrew zimmern can be pretty disgusting and annoying but other times he can be a great host and very informative. I like anthony bourdain better but bizarre foods when it isn't being rude to the culture ("oh my god can you believe these people eat this disgusting crap" etc) is a good show
What gets me about this show is that he likes everything. I understand that's the entire premise of the show, but there was one episode where he went to Africa. The locals literally fed him dirt, and he liked it and said that it tasted earthy.
everything has a nutty taste, EVERYTHING.
