I learned Blender (2.5x) a few days ago, and picked it up much more quickly than I expected to. Followed some tutorials and got the general hang of it. I spent like 10 hours straight working on this. There's a lot of things wrong with it, like a light being where a light model isn't, the end of the tunnel has strange lighting, etc., but I spent so long fixing other small problems and I'm finally satisfied with this render. It also takes like 30 minutes to render these and I'm extremely impatient.

I feel like the pose could've been a little better, and the floor looks like is been coated is lacquer.
But I like the DOF.
I actually like it, just make a better pose and your set to go
Yeah I agree, the pose needs working, but other than that, I like it.
we have a 3d digital art thread you know

as for a critique,
the ct looks way out of place, too low detail/dirty/busy compared to the rest of the scene. i think without the ct the whole thing would be a lot better. also even though the ct is there, it doesn't feel like he's the focus of the piece.

also the repetition on the pipe textures is quite obvious and they are also low rez-y.
^ Agreed, the CT looks photoshopped into the picture.
Looks neat though
Yeah, I did do a render without the CT in it and it does look better.
