Youtube being bitchy as of late?

SO yesterday, Youtube changed its interface for me. Nobody else has noticed the change, it seems, and when asked they also seem not to know what I'm talking about. A lot of the frill is gone, and now on the side of a video the boxes for related video and description are gone, replaced by a long list of related videos to the bottom of the page. The description and author are now under the video. Also, when I click my account name in the top right-hand corner, instead of a drop-down menu in one row it has a box of options for my account, with 6 options in 2 rows of 3 or so.

Along with this, sometimes I go to a video and it tells me my flash player is outdated and I need to go upgrade. It's even stranger because I can watch 90% of the videos on the damn site and then tells me my player is outdated on only a few. Also, if I go to the Adobe site they have some weirdass plugin for Firefox now and not just a fucking direct download to update Flash, so I don't seem to be able to even try that if that actually [I]is[/I] the root of my issues.

So yeah, any of this happening to anyone else? Any ideas on how to fix it? This happened like midday yesterday, which was strange as I had been on Youtube earlier with the older skin. Also, as I've got a feeling it has something to do with it, I'm working behind both Adblock Plus and NoScript.

You could try the HTML5 demo, but I don't believe that works for Firefox due to some video codec shit.

Try getting the plugin for firefox and upgrading your flash

That's the thing, I download the plugin and.... That's it. It doesn't do a goddamn thing, and I get no prompy on how to fix anything.

I'll go get it again and see if I can figure it out this time, but I doubt it.
