When The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker was originally released, it had its fair share of detractors. Those hoping for a more mature approach to the series were tremendously disappointed, and the sudden and abrupt graphical shift left an initial sour taste in the mouth of some. After actually playing through it, however, it became one of the best loved games in the series and one of the standout titles on the Gamecube. It was just an all around great game the had a fantastic adventure and a unique, memorable art style. So, of course many people were excited for the HD remake that recently came out for the Wii U. It's a shame, even with HD the cuteness of Link's little sister is still entirely believable.

That has nothing to do with Wind Waker HD not being popular. Japan is very killer app focused. When Monster Hunter 4 came out everyone and their mum probably bought that damn thing.

I'd buy WW HD if they just added an extra dungeon or something. I even recall that there was originally intended to be another dungeon, back when you're tracking down the three orbs or something earlier on, and you get the first two from dungeons, and simply have a giant fish hand you the third. But that was cut due to time restraints.
I love WW, don't get me wrong: I just find it hard to justify paying that much money for a more pretty version of a game I already own, especially since WW's graphics have aged rather well due to the cell shading.

Well it's a Remake, if it was a new Zelda game it would most likely be on top.
I think they'd be much better off remaking Majora's Mask... Or, you know... Coming up with more original Zelda games.
I thought Nintendo fans loved new games with hardly any change from the previous.

i highly doubt its anything new though. just about every romance vn out there has some sort of sister/cousin route, blood-related or otherwise.
